Naia Badiola Solabarrieta

Naia Badiola Solabarrieta holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (2024) and a Master’s Degree in Law (2026) from the EHU, where she currently works as a researcher at the UNESCO Chair on Human Rights and Public Powers. She is involved in an applied legal research project on historical and democratic memory, focused on the analysis of economic reparation measures granted to victims of the Franco regime. Furthermore, she is preparing her doctoral thesis on “Gender apartheid as a new crime against humanity under international criminal law”, with a special attention to the case of Afghanistan.
